Are You A Thought Leader?
Depending on where we are in our lives, what we aspire to, and what our achievements are so far, only a few of us are ready to take on the mantle and exercise the power of being a thought leader.

For the enterprise, genuine thought leadership requires a deep cultural commitment.

These questions may help you decide for yourself:

  • Are you or your enterprise currently in a position of leadership? Do you aspire to be? How about your organization?
  • Do you know who you are and what you stand for, as an individual or as an organization? Are you comfortable making that clear to others?
  • Do those whom you lead, or wish to lead, understand and respect your vision so that you can, in fact, be an effective leader?
  • Are you recognized as a leader who can manage change?
  • Does your enterprise want to develop an innovation culture?
  • Would it be valuable for you to be a recognized as owning an area of intellectual property?
  • Would you prefer if business opportunities came to you because of your reputation?
  • Would you like to increase your margins?
  • Would it be worthwhile to you if your intellectual property became stand-alone profit centers?
  • Would it be valuable to you and your enterprise to develop your personal brand and your organization's brand, and brands for your intellectual property?
  • Are you willing to commit the resources to transform your career or your enterprise?

Answering 'yes' to most of these questions is critical if you or your organization are ready to become recognized thought leaders.
